Laser Dynamics of Asynchronously Modelocked Fiber Soliton Lasers

Abstract

Laser dynamics of asynchronously modelocked Er-fiber soliton lasers is investigated theoretically and experimentally. The pulse parameters are found to exhibit complicated slow periodic variations and can be examined experimentally by analyzing the RF spectra. (C)2008 Optical Society of America
