| Abstract: | 此作完成於一九六二年，置於台中東勢鎮東豐大橋橋頭，共計有四座。名為〔飛龍〕但其造型卻像馬，龍身還飾有中國古代的殷商紋飾。據何恭上著〈建築上的雕刻藝術－介紹台灣青年雕刻家楊英風新作〉（刊於《香港大眾報》1963年2月12日）中言：「從台中坐金馬號客車往橫貫公路時必經過東勢鎮的東豐大橋，這是一座遠東區最大最長的橋，橋的兩旁有四座〔飛龍〕雕塑，高二公尺，寬三公尺，這座〔飛龍〕龍形像馬，古代稱為「龍馬」，龍馬的精神，世喻雄健。傳說堯帝在位時，龍馬銜甲，赤文綠色，因此象徵雄瑞，氣勢磅礡，有如「我欲乘風去」偉姿。」 |
