| dc.description.abstract | Basing upon the information structure of variable-length Chinese data,this paper will propose and analyze a character-set encoded algorithm for storing them.From this analysis, we find out the condition for which our method will be more efficient than others.Also, by using a sample of one of the most commonly used variable-length Chinese data, the owner's name or title of a typical data processing system, we show that our method does be efficient,economic and practical for storing variable-length Chinese data. | en_US |
