Stock market is full of opportunity and uncertainty, which is characterized by return and risk. Investors have to utilize their knowledge and experience to explore the available information for selecting stocks with good prospects. Investment professionals mainly utilize available financial information for making evaluation, which is often termed as fundamental analysis. Nevertheless, which financial information (variables/criteria) should be considered and the way for analysis is still inconclusive. Furthermore, while making comparison among a group of stocks, different criteria sometime reveal inconsistent signals. To handle the complexity of financial information analysis, this study proposes an integrated method to deal with the glamour stock evaluation problem. The method is based on an examined financial model. In the first stage, the weights of criteria are obtained by DANP method, and the second stage integrates the influential weights with expert's assessment for each criterion to complete the modified TOPSIS based on influential network relation map (INRM) for making decision in improvement direction. This study provides an empirical case for 5 real stocks in the Taiwan market as example. The suggested ranking result generated high correlation with the 5 stocks' subsequent holding period returns, which indicates the usefulness of the proposed method.

Industrial heritage tourism has become increasingly popular in recent years. However, strategies for improving the industrial heritage tourism development-related performances are still an underdeveloped research topic academically. Therefore, this study's purpose is to explore the feasibility performance-improving strategies using a hybrid-modified multiple attribute decision-making (MADM) based on the DEMATEL technique in constructing the influential network relation map (INRM) and in determining the influential weights of DANP. Then, the modified VIKOR method is combined with the influential weights of DANP, performance gaps were identified, and then the most effective strategies for improving tourism development-related performance at industrial heritage sites can be generated using INRM. Finally, an empirical real case study of a rehabilitated gold-mining site of Taiwan is used to demonstrate the effectiveness of the hybrid-modified MADM model. According to the results, the decision-makers should highly prioritize improving high-priority criteria such as 'social usefulness', 'resource integration', 'destination policy and development', 'economic development', 'cultural links', 'cultural learning', and 'natural landscape resources' in advance to successfully achieving the aspired performance levels. Additionally, this study suggests meaningful industrial heritage tourism performance improvement strategies that have been rehabilitated throughout the world.

As the advanced integration of communications, information and vehicle technologies, Vehicle Telematics Systems (VTS). have been initiated for satisfying consumers' needs with respect to automobile movement. Importantly, VTS enables a vehicle to become a multifunction mobile-services platform. Cars are now designed not only for transportation, but also to provide value-added services covering navigation, safety, security, information, communications and entertainment. Drivers or passengers can contact a call center via VTS to access aspired/desired services and information online. Therefore, VTS increases both the utility/functions and the safety of driving. Developing the optimal VTS that satisfies with consumers' needs has become the foremost concern of automobile producers. This study will attempt to identify the required VTS utilities between distinguishing characteristics/features of consumers and propose the ideal service combinations for the next e-era generation VTS. An evaluating model by six aspects to be considered/constructed, which encompasses 25 criteria, is built to identify consumers' needs for the next e-era generation VTS. In the paper, a Decision-Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) technique is used to construct the network relation-map (NRM) among the criteria of each aspect. These criteria are not mutually independent: instead, they have feedback mechanisms. The Analytical Network Process (ANP) based on NRM is used to determine the relative weightings among those criteria. Moreover, the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) is used to determine and improve the gaps among the distinguishing characteristics/features of consumers' desired utilities with respect to services/provide the decision-maker of Telemetics Service Provider (TSP) for improving existing functions or planning further utilities in the next-generation VTS. Based on above NRM those results can be served as a suggestion for the TSP to improve the existing functions or plan further utilities/functions for reducing the gaps and satisfying the users' needs in next e-era generation VTS. This paper proposes a Fuzzy Group Decision Approach for making strategic decisions about knowledge management adoption. In the global economy, knowledge has become a key asset in organizations; thus, Knowledge Management (KM) has emerged as a major issue that managers must deal with. However, implementing KM is becoming more complicated. Practitioners must assess complex and confusing situations, initiate KM, identify the causal relationships between problems, make appropriate decisions, and guarantee that the recommended action plan will be effective. Therefore, effective group decision-making is essential. A 27-item list that constituted a complete domain for OKMR (Organizational Knowledge Management Readiness) measurement was obtained, which are used to construct the criteria of knowledge management adoption. The DEMATEL (Decision MAking Trial and Evaluation Laboratory) method gathers collective knowledge to capture the causal relationships between strategic criteria. This paper applies the DEMATEL method in the strategic planning of knowledge management to help managers address the above situations and related questions.

Digital music services have provided more and more digital contents and service styles. The number of people paying to download music is on the rise. Digital music files, mainly in MP3 format, have become widespread on the internet. Downloading digital products for free may harm creators and music publishers, because it is very easy to obtain free-music through peer-to-peer sharing technologies over the internet. At the same time, portable entertainment devices and mobile phones are now able to carry music files, enabling people to access music much more easily. On the other hand, with the coming of the 5G in the telecom infrastructure, the rise in downloading music using mobile devices becomes possible. People can access online-music platform services through cable/ADSL with their digital devices (e.g., Personal computer, Notebook and Smart phone) or through the telecom services accompanying their mobile devices. Therefore, a critical issue for record publishers, or digital music service providers, is how to provide services to create value and fulfill customer needs. By determining customer music service needs and intentions, this study identifies the selection criteria necessary for customers to evaluate and select digital music service platforms. A novel MCDM (Multiple Criteria Decision Making) technique is developed that integrates the Decision making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL), Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Analytical Network Procedure (ANP), and VlseKriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje (VIKOR). This technique ranks and improves the digital music service platforms to obtain the best win-win service selection. This paper will propose the key driving aspects of the digital music service platforms and rank them by using the model proposed. The conclusions are composed of suggestions for service providers to improve their existing functions and plan further utilities for the digital music service platforms. (C) 2016 Elsevier B.V. When consumers purchase products, they will consider the brand first, because it indirectly leads consumers to associate with the quality, functions, and design of products. According to the smiling curve, the production of products is interacted with marketing and R&D. Therefore, the enterprises enhancing the marketing and R&D for production can create brand value. This study focuses on the marketing, and is based on the traditional marketing strategies to develop the brand marketing mix. However, there are many criteria among the strategies, and the criteria are interrelated. Thus, we want to probe the key success factors of the brand marketing to satisfy customer\'s needs. A MCDM model combining DEMATEL with ANP methods is used to find the importance and influence among the dimensions and criteria, which can evaluate marketing strategy. The study results will provide the enterprises with a reference for planning brand marketing.

In multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) methods, the compromise ranking method (named VIKOR) was introduced as one applicable technique to implement within MCDM. It was developed for multicriteria optimization of complex systems. However, few papers discuss conflicting (competing) criteria with dependence and feedback in the compromise solution method. Therefore, this study proposes and provides applications for a novel model using the VIKOR technique based on DEMATEL and the ANP to solve the problem of conflicting criteria with dependence and feedback. In addition, this research also uses DEMATEL to normalize the unweighted supermatrix of the ANP to suit the real world. An example is also presented to illustrate the proposed method with applications thereof. The results show the proposed method is suitable and effective in real-world applications.

Causal analysis greatly affects the efficiency of decision-making. Scholars usually adopt structural equation modeling (SEM) to establish a causal model recently. However, statistical data allow researchers to modify the model frequently to arrive at good model fitness, and SEM is often misapplied when the data are merely fitted to an SEM and the theory is then extended from the analytical result based on presumed hypotheses. This paper proposed SEM modified by DEMATEL technique, taking causal model of Web-advertising effects for example. Having revealed that the new model is the one that conforms to actual data and is better than initial model, the results confirm that the DEMATEL technique can be an efficient, complementary, and confident approach for reprioritization of the amended modes in a SEM model. In addition, the most important factor affecting the Web-advertising effects may be found via the modified model, which benefits the manager for making strategic marketing plans.
