Abstract: | 以人體為中心的無線電通訊系統 (Body-Centric Wireless Communication Systems,
BWCS)是下世代無線電通訊的發展重點之一,在BWCS 中通訊元件佩帶於身上的情況
稱為on-body 系統,而其元件之間的通訊稱為無線電人體區域網路(Wireless Body Area
Networks, WBAN or BAN)。on-body 系統可與生理監測器或可攜式的電子設備整合做
相關資訊的傳遞。另外,超寬頻(UWB)低功率密度與高傳輸速率的特點,成為BAN
中最重要通訊技術。on-body 的通訊系統在設計之前,必須先建立BAN 的通道模型,
因此BAN 的通道研究已是近幾年熱門的研究題目。由於BAN 的天線貼近人體,人體
對天線的特性與無線電通道產生重大的影響,使得傳播通道變得複雜,目前國際上的
研究尚不多見。本計畫將以三年的時間,進行UWB 在BAN 的研究,內容包括SISO(單
發單收)以及MIMO(多發多收)無線電通道之量測系統與模型建構,並利用實地測量結
果驗證本計畫所發展模型之準確性。 One of the most important development of the next generation of the wireless communication system is the Body-Centric Wireless Communication System(BWCS).When the communication between the devices on the human body of the BWCS is called the on-body system. A radio network consists of the on-body devices is call the Wireless Body Area Networks(WBAN or BAN)。The on-body system has found important applications in heath monitoring and wearable electronic products and so on. Ultra-wideband (UWB) is a promising technology for BAN, since it has a property of low power density and large transmission rate. The BAN channel models must be developed before designing an on-body system. The research on BAN has begun to be an important area for the recent years. In BAN the human body has significant influences on antenna and channel characteristics, which makes BAN channel more complicated. Few research results are found on the topic. In this 3-year project, UWB BAN SISI and MIMO measurement systems will be built to characterize both UWB BAN SISI and UWB BAN MIMO radio channels. The both radio channel models will be also developed and validated by the measurement result. |
