摘要: 感知無線網路能在更有彈性地提供所有可能的適當頻譜機會給使用者,無論是 既有的單一通訊網路系統、同質與異質性整合的網路環境,亦或是目前與未來發展 的網路系統(例如3G、 4G、OFDM-based、MIMO-based、WiFi、WiMAX、UWB… 等),都可以透過感知無線網路的頻譜機會配置與控制機制作互連並提供在任何時 間、地點的無縫 (seamless)接取服務。 因此針對感知無線網路,如何有效地決定適當的網路架構、並且正確快速地評 估可用多少無線電頻道資源是重要關鍵。另一方面,如何降低不同系統之間的干擾 又是另一個挑戰。 本研究之目標在針對感知無線系統,從頻譜共享的觀點,研究下列三個議題: (1) 支援頻譜共享之感知無線網路架構; (2) 動態頻譜使用機制; (3) 干擾防範機制。
Cognitive radio (CR) is an import research topic recent years. CR networks can dynamically provide spectrum opportunity to users with a lot of flexibility, which is not only limited in a homogeneous system, but also for the heterogeneous wireless systems, including 3G, 4G, WiFi, WiMax, etc. In other words, CR network can provide seamless access services to users in different system based on the opportunistic spectrum allocation and control mechanism. One of the key issues for cognitive wireless networks is how to determine an appropriate network architecture effectively and estimate the available radio resources accurately. Another challenge posed by cognitive wireless networks is to avoid the interference among various wireless systems. In this project, from the aspect of frequency sharing, we will investigate the following key issues for cognitive wireless systems: (1) Network architectures for spectrum-sharing cognitive wireless systems; (2) Dynamic spectrum access; (3) Interference avoidance mechanism.
