IMS整合實驗計畫(II)

Abstract

交通大學（NCTU – National Chiao Tung University）過去在電信國家型計畫 （NTP–National Science & Technology Program for Telecommunications）的建置計畫中， 不但建立了完整的SIP-based VoIP 平台，亦積極參與國際OMA (Open Mobile Alliance) 測試標準組織會議，制訂第三代行動通訊之測試標準（如：MMS 及PoC 等）。此外， 本計畫推動法國電信研究所（INT）與交大之跨國合作，共同研究OSA（Open Service Access）與IMS（IP Multimedia Subsystem）相關議題 。本計畫第一期成果整合建置一 個IMS 系統、研發IMS 相關應用服務，並參與OMA 測試標準的制訂，發展IMS 中DRM (Digital Right Management)、Downloading 與Browsing等測試技術。在本期計畫將延續前 期成果，建立高可靠度之IMS核心網路系統，並在此平台建置相關服務及驗證。

NCTU (National Chiao Tung University), with the support from NTP (National Science and Technology Program for Telecommunications), has established an integrated SIP (Session Initiation Protocol)-based VoIP (Voice over IP) platform called NTP VoIP Platform, join OMA (open Mobile Alliance) to produce the testing specifications for IMS (IP core-network Multimedia Sub-system) applications. In addition, this project cooperates with the Institut National des Telecommunications (INT) in France for interworking on Open Service Access (OSA) and IMS issues. In Project I, we have extended the results from previous projects to establish an IMS platform, then develop the IMS applications, and submit the IMS applications (e.g., Digital Right Management (DRM), Downloading and Browsing) to OMA. This project will build an IMS core network platform with high reliability and availability. Several services will be deployed and verified in this platform.
