dc.description.abstractThe invention provides a process for preparing a positive-negative-blended optical retardation film comprising coating a solution consisting of discotic and rod-like liquid crystal onto an alignment layer after unidirectionally rubbing treatment on a substrate, subsequently heating the coating to obtain a film consisting of discotic and rod-like liquid crystal with uniform arrangement, and then curing it through exposing under a UV-irradiation to obtain a positive-negative-blended optical retardation film with excellent viewing angle; and a positive-negative-blended optical retardation film. Further, the invention also provides a liquid crystal element and a liquid crystal device having said positive-negative-blended optical retardation film.zh_TW
