dc.description.abstract  心血管疾病常年名列於國人十大死因前幾名,因此相關疾病的診斷及治療顯得格外重要,而在診斷過程當中,多切面電腦斷層掃描(Multi-Detector Computed Tomography,MDCT) 又扮演了相當重要的角色。在技術不斷發展的狀況下,電腦斷層掃描已能呈現更加準確且清晰的影像,但唯獨在必須由人工進行的診斷方面無法獲得有效的改善,上百張的影像對於人力以及效率都是相當大的負擔。因此,發展出一套有效的自動診斷系統已成為專家、學者們的努力方向。   本篇論文旨在使用電腦斷層掃描資料來發展一套冠狀動脈分割演算法,透過二維橫截面影像的擷取以及三維分割演算法來從影像資料中取出整個冠狀動脈。zh_TW
dc.description.abstract  Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death worldwide according to the World Health Organization. Computed tomography of the heart is useful in the diagnosis of suspected coronary heart disease, due to the rapid development and expanded use of MDCT(multi-detector computed tomography), it becomes much easier than before to obtain more accurate and high-resolution image data of the heart. But it is tiring and time-consuming for a doctor to analyze MDCT images layer by layer, so many scholars have attempted to develop algorithms for the automatic extraction to find the coronary arteries from the MDCT images to facilitate the screening and diagnosis.   In this thesis, we propose a method for the segmentation of coronary artery from MDCT images. Firstly we use the intensity information to segment the regions of interest from every cross-section image of coronay artery. Then we use a 3D Active Contour Model to extract the lumen. Finally we remove the calcified plaque from the previous result.en_US
