摘要: 臺灣的半導體產業,可以追溯到美國電晶體的誕生、積體電路(Integrated Circuit,IC)的發明,而臺灣半導體產業的發展也同時深受美國半導體產業所影響,現在目前臺灣半導體產業在過去這些年來成長與茁壯,已經是一個非常成熟與完整的產業供應鏈。 其中,在整個半導體產業中,最有價值的部分莫過於上游IC設計的公司,這是一個以創新為導向的公司,有別於中下游公司強調於效率與良率的改善,是一個智慧密集的公司形態,由前述可知,IC設計公司所設計的IC晶片代表著公司的競爭能力。 再者,IC設計公司著重在產品IC的研發與創新,因此研發資料與原始程式碼是公司獲利的來源根基,因此專案團隊的研發工作必須需要有系統化的作業來進行,才能有效率進行與保存重要知識資產。因此,本研究以一個IC設計公司為案例,研究導入軟體生命週管理系統過程與分析其效益。
Taiwan's IC industry can be traced back to the United States’ transistor and integrated circuit(IC) appearance. Taiwan‘s IC industry influences the world and has a very profound impact. In these past years, Taiwan's semiconductor industry is with robust growth and already mature and has a complete industrial supply chain. Throughout the IC industry, the most valuable part is the upstream IC design companies, which are innovation-driven. Unlike downstream companies stress on efficiency and yield improvement. IC design industry is a kind of intelligence-intensiveness. Whether an IC product good or bad reflects this company's competitiveness. IC design companies focus on product development and innovation of the IC. Therefore, the development of information and the source code is the company's key profit sources. Therefore, the software project team needs tasks and job status visibility. This research will show two aspects. This study will review software engineer and application life cycle management literatures and further investigate the benefits of an IC design company that implements application life cycle management system.
