dc.description.abstract隨著資訊科技發展的進步,資料傳輸量也隨之增加,如高畫質的影像或是高速圖像的擷取,因此在本篇論文中,提出一個完整的光纖通訊傳輸平臺,並提供至少2 Gbps的傳輸能力。該平臺是利用光纖鏈路作為有線傳輸的主要方式並透過PCI Express (Peripheral Component Interconnection Express, PCI-E or PCIe) 來存取光纖鏈路上所收發的資料。光纖通訊擁有傳輸容量大、損耗低、低電磁干擾等優點,能夠有效的解決傳輸距離與傳輸量的問題。 傳輸平臺是使用電腦、Xilinx VC707與光纖模組建立而成。平臺的主要介面可分成光纖鏈路與PCI-E。在光纖鏈路方面,是利用板上的兩個FPGA Mezzanine Card (FMC) 介面與光纖模組實作出光纖鏈路的兩個端點,並搭配協定Aurora 8B10B來協助傳輸;在PCI-E的部份是使用Xillybus所提供的DMA核心,來負責電腦與FPGA之間資料的高速交換。 在整個通訊平臺建立完成後,會透過電腦中接收與傳送的程式來完成資料的收發,在傳輸過程中會將傳送的資料藉由光纖鏈路環回到原來的電腦。在測試結果中,平臺能夠穩定的傳輸並提供2 Gbps以上的傳輸速率。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractWith advances in information technology development, the data transmission volume also increased, such as high-definition video or high-speed image capture. Therefore, this paper proposes a complete fiber-optic communication platform, which provide at least 2 Gbps transmission capacity. The platform is using the optical link as the main form of wired transmission and through the PCI Express (Peripheral Component Interconnection Express, PCI-E or PCIe) to access the data of the optical link. The optical communication has the advantages of higher bandwidth, less signal degradation, lower electromagnetic interference (EMI) that is an effective way to solve the problems of transmission distance and capacity. The transmission platform is established by a computer, Xilinx VC707 and the fiber module. The main interface of the platform can be divided into the optical link and PCI-E. The optical link use two FPGA Mezzanine Card (FMC) interface and the fiber modules to make the two ends of the link, and using Aurora 8B10B to be the communication protocol; PCIE use Xillybus DMA core to responsible for the high-speed data exchange between the computer and the FPGA. After the entire communication platform is established, we will use the transmission program to loop the transmit data back in the original computer. The transmission tests can show the results that the platform can provide stable data transmission and transmission rate is more than 2 Gbps.en_US
