dc.description.abstract本論文的研究內容主要是建構並研究基於非線性放大光纖迴路之極化保持被動鎖模摻鉺光纖雷射的特性。極化保持鎖模光纖雷射有環境穩定的優點,但是因為一般所用的非線性偏振旋轉被動鎖模機制在此無法應用,所以我們改採用非線性放大光纖迴路來進行被動鎖模。在此雷射架構下,我們藉由改變主要迴路與非線性放大光纖迴路的激發功率,觀察在不同操作條件下雷射的輸出功率、光譜、以及脈衝形式的變化特性。另一方面,我們也藉由改變非線性放大光纖迴路中的非線性效應大小來探討此效應對雷射特性的影響並獲得較好的雷射輸出特性。我們成功產生ps等級的穩定鎖模脈衝序列輸出,也觀察到multiple pulses與noise-like pulses等有趣的鎖模雷射操作狀態。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractThe thesis is focused on the study of the environmentally stable polarization maintaining mode-locked Er-doped fiber laser based on a nonlinear amplifying fiber loop for passive mode-locking. Under the studied laser structure, we adjust the main loop and the nonlinear amplifying loop pump powers to observe the changes of optical powers, optical spectra and pulse characteristics. We also adjust the optical nonlinearity in the nonlinear amplifying loop to search for a better operation point. We have successfully obtained ps order stable mode-locked pulse trains and observed interesting mode-locked lasing phenomena including multiple pulses and noise-like pulses.en_US
