dc.description.abstract | 目前全球的4G行動通訊標準主流包含有歐規的FDD LTE及中國大陸的TD-LTE,現階段FDD-LTE的發展遠遠超過了TD-LTE,在目前所有4G LTE用戶當中,超過90%為FDD LTE用戶。不過中國全力推展TD-LTE的國際化,TD-LTE在全球市場快速的進展,商機也同樣的受到矚目。 高通就是FDD/TD-LTE主要支持者和晶片供應商之一,其擁有許多關鍵技術專利並授權予全球行動電話及基地台設備製造公司,本論文針對高通所擁有的行動通訊相關專利技術內容做深入分析,藉以找出高通對於下一代行動通訊所申請的專利,根據本論文的研究結果發現高通對於增強區域接取效能、強化多天線傳輸技術等技術,早已申請了多篇關鍵性專利與非關鍵性專利。 本論文的研究結果可提供台灣IC通訊晶片產業瞭解高通對下一代行動通訊所做的專利佈局情況的參考。 | zh_TW |
dc.description.abstract | The 4th generation cellular communication standards currently include European FDD-LTE and China TD-LTE and China TD-LTE. Qualcomm, a global leader of FDD/TD-LTE technology, has many essential patents and has licensed them to cellular phone manufacturers and base station manufacturers worldwide. In this paper, we analyze Qualcomm’s related patents in detail so as to identify some of Qualcomm essential patents for next generation technology. According to our analysis result, we found that Qualcomm has essential patents and non-essential patents related to improve performance in Heterogeneous Network, power control and MIMO /Beam-forming techniques. The analysis result for Qualcomm’s wireless related patents can help Taiwan communication Chipset Company to understand how Qualcomm develops its patent portfolio and what essential patents it possesses in the future. | en_US |
