摘要: | 近年來因為節能議題被廣泛的討論,因此各家廠商都無不絞盡腦汁致力於節能商品的開發上。因而,於電視產品上便有了所謂的LED TV,顧名思義是以LED作為光源來達到節能的效果。
早期的LED backlight是利用R、G、B三種顏色的LED混色出白光,但為了更加節能,因此,就有人提出使用藍光晶片搭配上螢光粉的白光LED,可是,螢光粉易受熱影響而有色偏的問題存在,進而影響到顯示器的壽命、色穩定度及色飽和度。
本論文中應用了外層螢光發光技術(External Photo-fluorescent Technology)以解決螢光粉的受熱問題,藍光激發式平面光源模組(Blue-Light Excited Flat Lighting System, BFL),本文中此法將應用於側入光式的BFL中。
以外部置放螢光條的方式取代原本將螢光粉摻入LED封裝膠的方式,將螢光物質遠離熱源。可保留白光LED的平面光源模組所擁有的光學特性,且因為螢光物質熱衰減緩及不易氧化,可添加色域廣的螢光物質而使色飽和度有明顯得提升。 In the recent years, many manufactures have been brainstorming for the investments of “energy saving” products due to energy efficiency topics. Therefore, the LED TV was created for the purpose of energy saving, which was with the LEDs to as the light sources. In early displays backlighting technology, white LED combines with three color lights mixing of red, green, and blue (RGB). Later, in order to improve energy saving capability, the others involved coated phosphors upon the blue chip to form white light. However, the heat effect of the phosphors would induce the lifetime problem and caused color shift of LED. The external photo-fluorescent technology has investigated to solve the phosphors’ thermal effects. In this paper, I will further discuss how to apply edge type of BFL to solve the phosphors’ thermal effects. The external fluorescent strips have replaced the phosphor powder embeds into LED packaging glue. This approach can keep phosphors away from heat source and retain optical properties in the flat lighting system module to as a light source. Quantum dot has significantly enhanced the color gamut. |
