dc.description.abstractIn this paper, a single-layer power-divider prototype that allows for arbitrary power divisions and arbitrary in-phase or out-of-phase responses at dual frequencies is proposed for the first time. In particular, at either frequency, the power-dividing ratio as well as the in-phase or out-of-phase design can be flexibly engineered by electrical lengths of the constituent transmission lines. For demonstration purposes, two dual-band examples with power divisions of 6/3 dB and phase differences of in-phase/out-of-phase, and power divisions of 3/3 dB and phase differences of out-of-phase/in-phase, respectively, were developed at 0.9/1.8 GHz. Measured and simulated results are in good agreement.en_US
