Abstract: Highly efficient InGaN-based LEDs with embedded sidewall passivation cubic airvoids made by nanoimprint lithography were demonstrated. The LEDs with embedded airvoids exhibit a 45% enhancement of light output at 20 mA compared with conventional LEDs.
