Wi-Fi技術發展和應用影響因素探討

Abstract

Wi-Fi的第一個版本發表始於1997年，而隨著網際網路蓬勃發展、個人電腦的普及、人手數台行動裝置的情況下，Wi-Fi的應用和需求，更是讓使用者及各家企業想盡辦法去找到Wi-Fi創新應用的方法。例如物體和物體的資訊提供和交換，更甚者將Wi-Fi應用在車體或是車體和車體之間的資訊提供，亦即現在所謂的車聯網(Internet of Vehicle, IoV)，又或是提供商業上的服務。 在整個萬物聯網的範圍下，本論文藉由探討影響Wi-Fi發展的因素和應用，探討Wi-Fi是不是能夠隨著這一波趨勢而繼續發光發熱。

The first version of Wi-Fi was published in 1997. And with the Internet booming in the past decades, it gradually becomes the most popular wireless connectivity method and is familiar by people all around the world nowadays. As the spreading of portable devices flourishes Wi-Fi applications and requirements, the Wi-Fi users and suppliers are eager to find out innovative applications for Wi-Fi, such as information providing and exchange between or among vehicles, that is the internet on vehicles. Under the scope of IoT, this research probes the great opportunities given by the next BIG things, “IoT” and “IoV”, by exploring the determinants in the development and application of the Wi-Fi technologies, and foresees the development situation of Wi-Fi.
