This paper review is built up on the notions that business entity is embedded in social networks, the firm business strategies that CEO or managers take in their management is partly effected by the actions or performances of other agents (competitors, suppliers, governments or costumers and etc.) both inside and outside the industry boundary, or we can say the network structure that the company embedded in and the relationships that it has with the other partners in the network will influence on firm competencies and strategies. So, in one way, the network structure that company belongs to will have impact on its performance, but on the other hand, by its own strategies, company can also create a reverse effect on the network structure that it is in and make change to the network structure to bring more benefits to its operation. With this curiosity of how network structure affects firm competitive strategies, this thesis review’s purpose is to summarize what other scholars worldwide have found out about this relationship between network structure and firm strategy, from that, this thesis also summarizes and propose applicable strategies that firm can apply and leverage the network structure to increase its competitive competencies.zh_TW
