dc.description.abstract早期對色彩的研究是單純為了以數學的方式來描述色彩,在有了可以定值描述色彩的方式之後,則產生了可應用的領域。不管在照明與顯示,或是印刷、紡織及油漆等領域也都是色彩學的應用範圍。進入到了數位時代的來臨,色彩顯示設備則成了目前科技主流的兵家必爭之地,大從投影機,液晶螢幕,小至智慧型手機,或是可能會成為未來主流的虛擬實境系統,色彩是否能真實呈現,都是研究重點之一,甚至可以說設備的色彩如何呈現,對於消費大眾的接受度也起了很大的影響。而人類有興趣的領域,自然也會是值得研究與探討的方向。 本文所專注的領域則鎖定在“多相依原色之色域邊界”。原色指的是不能透過其他顏色混和調配而得出的基本色。相依原色(Dependent Primary Color, DPC)在這篇論文裡定義為可透過其它獨立原色所混色而得之基本色。 原色之色彩刺激值可以通過其他原色之加法原理來表示。因此,在多原色凸多邊形色域內的任意色將被視為一個相依原色,在混入相依原色之後的色域邊界的形成及變化則為研究重點。至於應用方面,例如數位光學處理投影機(DLP)和顯示器的LED背光源,包括白色LED,皆可利用此方法在實際量測前即推算出完整的色域體積(Color Volume)。 如上所述,採用DLP的多段色輪進行多原色顯示的多原色顯示器是一種方便和容易的方法。 在一般情況下,DLP的四段(R,G,B和W)色輪包含白色段,以提高光的強度。 在這篇論文,我們混入新的相依原色,提出五個(R,G,B,W1 and W2)原色來探討多個相依原色(DPCs)修改後的理論。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractDependent primary color (DPC) is defined as a primary color mixed by other independent primary colors. The color stimulus of primary colors can be represented by additive mixture of positive amounts of the other primary colors. Therefore, the arbitrary primary color remaining inside the convex polygon color gamut of Multi-Primary Colors (MPCs) is treated as a DPC. Many applications include dependent primary color (DPC) inside the convex polygon color gamut of Multi-Primary Colors (MPCs), for example digital light processing projector (DLP) and LED backlight of displays including white LEDs. However, among the many ways to carry out the multi-primary color display as mentioned above, using the multi-segment color wheel of DLP carry out multi-primary color display is one convenient way and easy to approach. In general, the four-segment (R, G, B and W) color wheel of DLP contain the white color segment to enhance light intensity. In this dissertation, we propose five-segment (R, G, B, W1 and W2) color wheel to discuss the modified theory for Multi-Primary Color (MPC) gamut boundaries with multiple dependent primary colors (DPCs).en_US
