部分之於整體－以空間構築關係而重新引發感知的過程

Abstract

這篇論文主要藉由將建築視為之於整體的一部分的思考過程，發覺我們與世界的關係，並透過空間的構築讓人以真實的經驗感知。

在第一個章節中，作者提出部分與整體的論述──透過將建築視為整體的一「部分」，從對「整體」超越理性的觀察、感受與探索開始，再詮釋部分之於整體的關係，最後以空間構築成新的經驗。接下來，我以「微型室空間」的競圖對「部分之於整體的關係」提問，重新思考我們是如何認知一個「空間」。在第二個章節中，作者由對自然環境的感知與人潛意識對於環境的選擇，探尋部分之於整體那層不可見的關係。

而在第三章的兩個小節，便是在建構不同的「部分」之於「整體」的關係──第一小節的「開口博物館」與「攝影博物館」討論關於人之於攝影作品中的意念與人之於城市時間涵構的意識，透過一系列的經驗構築，發覺隱藏於展品中與城市裡的意義。第二小節的「舊建築再生空間」裡，以木造的方式構築舊結構裡特殊的空間經驗與中區再生基地於台中舊城區的地方感。在最後一個章的兩個小節裡，則在建構部分之於整體的關係後加入時間的層次，進一步透過部分的改變影響整體的運作──第一小節食物森林裡的「水百合」在開與合的動態中反映在不同尺度下與人、與自然的關係，並與人和自然共同運行。第二小節的「正負三十度之間」作品中疊加了人的活動、自然的循環、聚落文化、海洋小島之於世界等多種層次的部分與整體的關係，在隨時間逐漸成形的海灣聚落安排中體現。至此，部分與整體的關係不再是單一和一次性的完成，而是多層且彼此交織牽引的狀態。

在將部分與不同整體之間的關係構築成空間後，原本不可見的關係化為真實的身體經驗，隱藏於我們與世界之間的聯繫也逐漸浮現。

The author believes that architecture is part of the whole and what matters is that how you define “the part” and “the whole”. This thesis focuses on creating space and experience through redefining the relationship between “the part” and “the whole”.

In the first chapter, the author states the concept of part of the whole. By redefining the relationship between “the part” and “the whole” through the observation beyond rationality, the author creates space with new experience. In chapter two, the author explores the unseen relationship through how we sense the natural environment and how we interact to the surroundings.

In chapter three, there are two projects as examples showing the process of creating space through redefining the relationship between “the part” and “the whole”. In the last chapter, there are another two projects presenting the concept of “part of the whole” in the time context. Therefore, the relationship between “the part” and “the whole” is no longer a single-layer but a complex and multi-layer relationship.

Through creating space by redefining the relationship between “the part” and “the whole”, the unseen relationship becomes real experience and the hidden relationship between us and the world starts revealing.
