dc.description.abstract在這篇論文中,我們以教育以及研究機構的角度去思考並提出了一個雲端服務系統。經由我們的設計,這個系統能夠應用在中小型的電子計算機中心來降低傳統機房及電腦伺服器等設備的管理複雜度並滿足一般實驗室所需求的計算及網路等相關資源。 得益於雲端運算科技,這個系統得以增加資源的使用率、降低不必要且昂貴的人力與硬體投資、減少能源消耗並增進管理效率。系統設計與預期達成的目標包含: 1. 支援異質的基礎設施即服務平台包含(VMware、OpenStack) 2. 與現行系統的整合 3. 提供分層資源認證,以減輕實驗室與課程上管理虛擬機的負擔 4. 提供自動和定制的系統配置和軟件安裝 5. 未來支援客製化硬體的需求,例如: GPUzh_TW
dc.description.abstractA cloud service platform providing a unified user interface is introduced in this work for the usage of education and research institutes. The proposed system can reduce the management complexity and fulfill most lab-level needs on basic computing and networking resources. In addition, it can support the operation of middle-size computer centers. Based on the goodness of cloud computing, the system can increase the resource utilization, lower the overall hardware and human resource investment, reduce the power consumption, and improve the management efficiency. The goals of the system design are to achieve the following specifications. 1. Have the capacity to manage heterogeneous hypervisor systems, including VMware and OpenStack. 2. Integrate with the existed systems 3. Provide hierarchical resource authentication to relieve lab and class management on virtual machines. 4. Provide automatic and customized system configuration and software installation. 5. Support GPU pass-through configuration for virtual machines.en_US
