摘要: 由於對高速通訊的需求,前程網路是基於無線存取網路而被提出的嶄新架構,此架構被廣泛應用於4G / 5G行動網路中。與傳統基站的架構相比起,前程網路分成為BBU跟RRH兩部份。此分割導致將導致BBU和RRH之間的傳輸介面需要花更多力氣去處理高速傳輸的資料。在本篇論文中,我們將提出基於光纖前程網路來實現高頻寬的需求。 被提出的光纖前程網路主要有三個部分,第一部分是將軟體實體層運行在通用處理器架構(光纖前程網路),而第二部分是以Xilinx VC707來作為資料收集器,而最後一部分是使用Xilinx ZC706和Xilinx VC707來實作無線寬頻頭端設備。其中軟體實體層和資料收集器的接口是透過PCIe,而資料收集氣和無線寬頻頭端設備的接口是透過光纖。最重要的是,我們提供同步的演算法用來同步與校準在不同無線寬頻頭端設備上的即時時鐘。因此,所提出的光纖前程網路能達成並實現出長距離且穩定的高速傳輸目標。
For the high speed communication demand, Fronthaul which is a novel mobile architecture associated with RAN-based network is widely used in 4G/5G mobile network. Compared to the architecture of tradition baseband station, Fronthaul is separated into BBU and RRH. Because of separation, the interface between BBU and RRH needs more effort to handle the data rate transmission. This thesis propose the fiber-based Fronthaul to achieve the high bandwidth requirement. The proposed fiber-based Fronthaul consists of SoftPHY which is running on general processor architecture (Intel I7-6700), data collector on Xilinx VC707 and RRH which is implemented by Xilinx ZC706 and Analog Devices AD-FMCOMMS5-EBZ. The interface between SoftPHY and data collector is PCIe and the interface between data collector and RRH is fiber. It is important that we provide synchronization scheme to synchronize and calibrate real time clock (RTC) of different RRH. As a result, the proposed fiber-based Fronthaul with SoftPHY is capable to achieve the objective of long distance, stability and high speed transmission.
