To evaluate a multifunctional microcapsule for cartilage tissue engineering, we developed a brand new amphiphilic material grafting Hyaluronic acid (HA) on hexanoic anhydride modified gelatin. The material formed microcapsules (HA-AGMC) loaded with superparamagnetic iron oxide (SPIO) and TGF-beta(1) can stimulate chondrogenic differentiation by the combination of biochemical and biophysical stimulation.en_US
