dc.description.abstract`The purpose of this paper is to study the performance of a-Si PV systems with different azimuth and inclination angle arrangements in Taiwan (latitude 24.78 degrees N). In the study, two of the PV systems are installed due south and the other two systems due east, and their module inclination angles are 10 degrees and 80 degrees, respectively. The system performance are evaluated and compared among these PV systems in 2008. The results show that both the final yields and performance ratio of the PV systems with 80 degrees inclination angle are worse than that of the systems with 10 degrees. The 80 degrees-inclined PV systems are about 0.5 times the final yields of the 10 degrees-inclined systems. The performance ratios of 80 degrees-inclined systems are about 17.56% lower compared to 10 degrees-inclined systems. In present case, the effect of azimuth is not noticeable.en_US
