dc.description.abstractIn this paper, a scalar pulse width modulation (SPWM) method is first proposed for a two-level multiphase VSI. By using the concept of zero average CMV within a switching period, the proposed SPWM method extends the previous SPWM method to reduce both the magnitude and high-order harmonic component of CMV. The proposed method is verified by the simulation and experimental results for a two-level three-phase VSI.en_US
