dc.description.abstractWe propose and demonstrate an electrically controlled liquid crystal phase grating for the terahertz wave. The performance of the device was characterized by a terahertz time-domain spectrometer. The experimental results were in a good agreement with the prediction by classic diffraction theory.en_US
