dc.description.abstractThe goal of this project was to develop a quantitative understanding about shape of axonal tissue activated (STA) and stimulation site by deep brain stimulation (DBS) in middle brain like thalamus, subthalamic nucleus (STN), and globus pollidus interna (GPi) to make better stimulation effects. The volume of tissue activated (VTA) can be studied using different electrode dimensions.en_US
