Abstract

"I've always been interested in exploring the intersection between computer science and medicine.NYCU offers a cross-disciplinary program in Molecular Medicine & Bioengineering, which allows me the flexibility to complete my research project in bioinformatics within drug development in a lab that understands my interests and enables me to take courses in both fields at the same time.Outside of my academics, I also volunteer in events for the International Student Association (ISA), Overseas Chinese Student Association(OCSA), and Office of International Affairs (OIA), where I get to build friendships with students of different backgrounds, some of which lasts after they leave NYCU."
