In this work, we immobilized a kind of supramolecules, the calixarenes, on the surface of a silicon wafer. Calixarenes can act as excellent hosts for many molecular guests. Based on the unique property, this work tries to explore possible applications of this material in molecular electronics, especially the immobilization of molecular devices and the measurement of molecular wires.en_US
