Transaction programming in CORBA

Abstract

Distributed object technology greatly helps the distributed system development. As the reliability of distributed software systems being concerned, transaction paradigms for distributed object systems become critical. This paper reveals a transaction programming model for the distributed objects standard, CORBA. This programming model follows the three-tier system model and consists of standard CORBA components. Recommendation and remarks about deploying the transaction programming model in CORBA are given.
