dc.description.abstractGoing green is more than a mere fad in the hotel industry, green hotel is becoming the mainstream. Based on the relative literature review, this study tries to develop a general conceptual framework of the green hotel rating system, it consists of 3 main parts including environmental protection, natural conservation and building infrastructure and comprises a total of 20 attributes. The paper proposes a general conceptual framework featuring its complex, multiple, relativistic and dynamic nature as a more comprehensive framework of green hotel rating system to provide authorities and hoteliers a guideline for identifying and implementing practical and measurable criteria to assess green hotels.en_US
