dc.description.abstractA wideband 32 x 32 star coupler module using two fibre amplifiers is presented. Not only can the loss of this module be fully compensated for but also it has better loss uniformity. The power margin increment of 18dB is achieved with this module in a 1.7 Gbit/s system experiment.en_US
