Abstract: We calculate the resonant energies and linewidths of hydrogen bounded by a parabolic cavity and exposed to an external uniform electric field. Energies and widths oscillate as a function of the size of the cavity. This interesting property differs from the previous result for the case of spherical cavity without the external field.
