CONTRAST-REVERSIBLE PHOTOREFRACTIVE INCOHERENT-TO-COHERENT OPTICAL CONVERTER BY USING AN ANISOTROPIC STRONG VOLUME HOLOGRAM

Abstract

An anisotropic strong volume hologram with a large coupling parameter is demonstrated in a normal-cut BaTiO3 crystal. We use this hologram to fabricate an incoherent-to-coherent optical converter that has a contrast-reversible output.
