摘要:	The symmetrical benzosuberone 3 has been used in the synthesis of tavacpallescensin by an Emmons-Wadsworth condensation, selenium dioxide oxidation and diisobutylaluminium hydride reduction. For the elaboration of occidol, alpha-diazotization, Wolff rearrangement and reaction with methyllithium were involved.
