NUMT(細胞核基因的粒線體假基因) 整合性網站建置

Abstract

NUMT全名是：Nuclear Mitochondrial DNA (細胞核基因的粒線體假基因)。是粒線體DNA片段轉移到細胞核裡去，並成為細胞核DNA的一部份。從1967年至今，有多篇論文討論發生在真核生物的NUMT。因mtDNA與nDNA的演化速度大不同，因此，NUMT有分子化石(molecular fossils)的稱呼，可用來當作物種演化的辨識方法之一。目前仍不清楚它發生的原因及機制。

關於NUMT的研究，大多著墨在它在細胞核的應用或演化情形，目前很少與之相關的網站，為便利未來這議題的研究，本篇論文主要工作為：建立一個以NUMT為中心的網站，網站收集的資料以NUMT 基本資料為主，並將與它有關聯的訊息整合在一起，本篇論文預計整合的內容有：1.用blastn，找出三個物種的NUMT詳細資料(人、黑猩猩、獮猴，分別找到數量為：1092、483、186)，在表現它的資料特性時，配合網站環境，使用線上圖表產生方式繪製相關視覺化圖表。2.嘗試找出與NUMT有關的mtDNA 基因，使用方法為將NUMT的mtDNA開始與結束位置和其mtDNA 基因序列位置比對。3.NUMT的轉移機制仍未知，但它發生地的突變或疾病的變化，或許可提供未來發生機制的參考項目，因此本篇論文嘗試建立NUMT與mtDNA突變或疾病的對映關係。

NUMT is an abbreviated term for "nuclear mitochondrial DNA". IT is a fragment sequence from mtDNA to nDNA and always considered as pseudogene. The mechanism of how it transferring to nDNA is still unknown.

Because of the evaluation rates between mtDNA and nDNA are different, NUMT is like a molecular fossils in the nucleus.

Most research about NUMT is about phylogenetic analysis and the changing process in nuclear DNA. It takes time getting NUMT data and filtering useful relationship data. In this paper, we try to build a NUMT integrated website which offering following information: (1) Importing 3 species NUMT data (Human、Pan troglodytes、Macaca mulatta), Showing the basic and import NUMT data characteristics. (2) Building the relationship in : NUMT and it's mtDNA gene、Human NUMT and the mtDNA disease or mutation.
