dc.description.abstract資訊系統在傳統上被視為是作業性的輔助角色,以成本的態度來看待,但這樣的角色已經轉變為競爭性武器,在全球化經濟的環境下提供獨特的競爭優勢。MIT90s模式-用來分析資訊科技(資訊系統)與九十年代企業的關係,組織是由五種力量所組成,即策略、管理流程(企業流程)、科技、組織結構及個人與角色,當組織受到外在環境影響時,這五種力量會呈現動態的平衡。本研究著重此模式中策略、流程及科技三個力量來探討台灣IT產業的大型資訊系統(跨功能或跨組織並且使用者眾多的系統)。 本研究先以個案方式研究台積電(TSMC)、聯電(UMC)、智邦(Accton)與明泰(Alpha Networks)的大型資訊系統,進而提出兩個命題,討論重點在於企業策略與資訊系統策略之策略性校準對企業流程價值之影響。其次,分別自台積電與明泰科技以抽樣方式進行內部員工意見調查,以員工認知來討論上述兩個命題。 本研究在於瞭解台灣IT產業之大型資訊系統其策略與企業策略如何增加企業流程價值,校準性是重要關鍵。該模式的五種力量中未來可進一步在探討資訊系統如何的組織結構及組織中的個人與其所扮演之角色,使整個模式更為完整,亦可進一步瞭解該模式於二十一世紀之適用性。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractInformation system has traditionally been thought as operational support role and treated as “cost”. But its role has been changed as a competitive weapon. IS offers a unique opportunity for competitive advantages in the global new economy. According to MIT90s framework- a model to analyze how the IS/IT influences the 1990s corporations, an organization can be thought of as comprised of five forces: strategy, management processes, technology, structure, and individuals and roles. These factors are in dynamic equilibrium even as the organization is subjected to influences from an external environment. This research focuses on the three forces- strategy, management processes and technology and investigates how IS, especially the large-scale IS, affects strategy and process in Taiwan IT industry. We first select four cases- TSMC, UMC, Accton and Alpha Networks to do case study and propose two related propositions. The propositions are about how the strategic alignment between business strategy and IS strategy influences process-oriented business vlaue. Otherwise, TSMC and Alpha’s internal employees are used to discuss the above propositions more deeply. Hence, this study could provide for academic researchers and IS practicians to understand how IS, especially the large-scale IS, affects between strategy and process in Taiwan IT industry. Furthermore, MIT90s model should be proved to be suitable for companies in 21 century in the future, especially the other two aspects: structue and individuals and roles.en_US
