| dc.description.abstract | In this thesis, we implement a multi-target detection and tracking algorithm on an embedded system. This system can automatically analyze the videos from different cameras to detect the positions of moving targets in the 3-D scene. This system consists of four static cameras and a DVPB-HD board provided by eInfochips. Here, we adopt two methodologies to speed up the coding process. First, we analyzed the characteristics of the multi-target detection and tracking algorithm and made a few modifications accordingly.
