摘要: 高雄市政府交通局為因應大眾捷運系統於2008年正式營運,因此新闢駛24條捷運接駁公車路線加入公車系統服務。而原有市區公車也做了相關路線調整,期能提升捷運車站的接駁服務功能。而高雄捷運自開通以來運量一直不如預期,根據高雄市政府交通局2008年調查,發現民眾往返捷運車站使用捷運接駁公車比例仍不高,僅約12%,可見捷運接駁公車仍有改善空間,因此如何提升捷運接駁公車的服務水準,為本研究所關心之問題。 接駁公車與捷運系統若能有效整合,將使大眾運輸服務之整體功能有顯著提升。因此本研究以統計方法中的複迴歸分析進行研究,首先找出影響新闢駛捷運接駁公車運量的公車服務水準;其次並從捷運車站的觀點出發,檢視捷運車站的公車服務水準好壞。最後並根據研究結果擬定改善策略,以改善接駁公車服務水準,進而增加捷運系統運量,提升大眾運輸的功能。
Kaohsiung Mass Rapid Transit(KMRT) system started operating in 2008.At the meantime, Transportation Bureau of Kaohsiung City provided 24 new routes of feeder bus and regulated the bus routes that have already existed in the bus system to upgrade the use of KMRT. The patronage of KMRT is still beyond our expectation. According to the survey of Transportation Bureau, only 12% of total KMRT passenger had leveraged the bus system to go forth and back from the station of KMRT to the destination. This study focuses on how to upgrade the performance of the feeder bus and improve the service quality for passengers. The feeder bus will enhance KMRT accessibility and convenience as well as reducing travel time given the anticipation on effectively integration between feeder bus and KMRT system. Moreover, it can extend the service area of KMRT. This study applies multiple regression methodology to find out 1.) Factors of bus performance that affect on the feeder bus patronage. 2.) Examination on feeder bus service from the perspective of KMRT station. Conclusion and recommendation will be also suggested and presented in this study regarding on how to accelerate KMRT patronage through improving the feeder bus service.
