dc.description.abstract如何減少能量的消耗來提升行動通訊裝置的電池壽命再IEEE 802.16e中是個很重要的議題。在IEEE 802.16e中,提出了三類的省電機制來改善行動通訊裝置的能量消耗,而我們的研究將針對三個省電機制中規劃即時性訊務的第二類省電機制。在我們的論文中,我們考慮了行動通訊裝置的服務品質找到了最具省電效能的睡眠周期,並且提出針對多個行動通訊裝置的規劃第二類省電機制的演算法。我們的節能規劃演算法提供了比之前研究更好的節能效率,並且擁有與先前研究一樣好的頻寬利用率。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractHow to conserve energy for increasing mobile subscriber stations (MSS) battery life is an important issue in IEEE 802.16e wireless networks. In IEEE 802.16e, there are three types of power saving classes (PSCs) for MSSs to reduce their power consumption. We focus on PSC type II which recommended for real-time traffic. In this thesis, we will find the most energy efficient sleep cycle for a MSS with a real-time connection considering its Quality of Service (QoS). Then we propose an energy efficient scheduling algorithm for multiple MSSs. Compared with previous designs, our proposed scheduling algorithm reduces more power consumption while resulting in comparable resource utilization.en_US
