dc.description.abstractSubstrate-mode holographic element is proposed as an alternative to conventional holographic element in optical interconnects applications. Because it has the advantages of chromatic aberration compensation and reducing alignment sensitivity over conventional holographic one. This component combines a totally internal reflection (TIR) beam within a dielectric substrate with several volume holograms which perform different beam directing function. In order to improve angular bandwidth, reflection hologram is introduced in substrate mode holographic interconnects structure. Computer simulations of the broad bandwidth reflection substrate-mode hologram designation have been performed. We fabricate these reflection holograms by dichromatic gelatin (DCG) process And, also we fabricate the reflection substrate-mode holographic interconnects for both transmissiion and reflection propagation.zh_TW
