數位互動電視服務編製工具之設計與實現

Abstract

數位電視的優點相對於傳統類比電視有許多；不僅影像畫質與音響的效果提昇，頻道訊號經過數位化壓縮後，可同時播出多個節目。數位化頻道更開啟了多元化的業務與商機；包含瀏覽網際網路、電視郵件、互動遊戲、個人化錄影等互動電視功能；數位電視商務可以達成真正電視立即線上購物、隨選視訊、線上投票、寬頻視訊會議等雙向互動功能的先進服務。 本論文研究於設計並實現以歐規DVB所制定之多媒體家用平台(MHP)互動電視標準為基礎之互動服務編製工具。為達到快速與簡易的編製目的，系統採用圖形化介面(GUI)設計，將重要的HAVi互動服務畫面與動作元件以視覺化的編排來簡化互動畫面與物件的設計，完成後的互動應用可以立即產生Java原始程式碼並進行線上編譯1。本論文提出的設計在簡化MHP互動電視應用設計的視覺化編輯，尤其是HAVi元件的特性與編排結構；而Java互動元件原始碼的自動產生與編譯，可以立即見到編輯結果，使這項工具將複雜且具專業性的數位電視互動服務應用設計變得容易學習，並且讓電視業者進行應用服務的快速部署。

There are many advantages of digital television over traditional analog television. Beside the improvement of video quality and audio effect, it can also provide more channel programs after digital signal compression. Digital channel not only provides digitized program, but also enrich various kinds of commerce opportunities, including internet surfing, TV mail, interactive game, and personal video recording. This thesis focuses on the design and implement of an authoring tool for DVB defined MHP, multimedia home platform, standard. The system was designed using GUI interface for quickly authoring by visual operation and arrangement of HAVi interactive elements and action objects on screen. The Java source code can be generated and compiled automatically after the interactive application has been completed1. In this paper, the main contribution is to simplify the MHP application design complexity, especially on the characteristic of HAVi components and layout structure. While the instant result from Java code generation and compilation has made professional MHP application design become easily and also let DTV broadcaster deploy interactive services more quickly.
