dc.description.abstract | 本文係研究如何利用積體光學調制器(IOM)作為光電諧波混器與積體光學 調制器自身的非線性特性,產生類似梳形波寬頻帶載於光波上的訊號源,藉 此來量測光偵測器的頻率響應o量測頻寬可遠高於積體光學調制器的頻寬, 我們成功地利用上述的方法量測了一頻寬約3GHZ的光偵測器,而且預期如 果用半波電壓低於3V頻寬 5GHz 之IOM,可量測頻寬將高達100GHz以上o此 外我們也分別對各種量測光偵器頻寬的方法作了比較與分析o In this thesis, we have developed a comb-like wide bandwidth electrical signal source on an optical carrier. This is based on an integrated electrooptic modulator (IOM) which serves as an electro-optic harmonic mixer and its nonlinear characteris- tics is utilized for measuring the bandwidth of a photodetector. The bandwidth of this technology can be higher than for the bandwidth of the IOM.It is successily demonstrated a photo- detector with a bandwidth of about 3GHz .We estimate the bandwidth of this technique will exceed 100 GHz if we have an IOM for which the half-wave voltage is less than 3 Volt and bandwidth is 5 GHz.Moreover,a comparsion of several different methods for measuring the bandwidth of photodetector is presented and analyzed. | zh_TW |
