Freehand sketching has always been used in the conceptual design process. The importance of freehand sketching lies in its ability to freely represent various ambiguous drawing projections. This research implements a convenient sketch interpretation system called Spatial Charcoal to aid in the conceptual design process. The system interprets a designer's sketch, generates a relative digital model and then fabricates it using a rapid prototyping machine.en_US
