青少年旅運活動特性分析

Abstract

有鑑於當前青少年違規無照駕駛機車之情形嚴重，而目前之大眾運輸 面臨日漸式微之窘境，如何提供服務設施以滿足青少年之運輸需求屬刻不 容緩之課題。本研究居於上述理由，乃希望從瞭解青少年之旅運活動特性 課題著手，嘗試去探索青少年行之需要及所面臨之問題，以作為規劃青少 年運輸服務設施及制訂管理辦法之參考。本研究之主要內容包括旅運活動 之資源特性分析、活動型態分析、交通工具使用及滿意度分析、旅次鏈分 析及地域性分析，藉由問卷設計調查與系統分析之方法對各研究主題進行 分析。 為使本研究結果能充分反應全國青少年之旅運 活動特性，乃以臺灣地區為研究範圍，規劃訪查500位國中年齡學生 、1500位高中年齡學生，而高中年齡之樣本數進一步依全國 高中、高職 及五專（前三年級）學生比率加以劃分，計有高中418份、高職886份、五 專 196份，再依各縣市之各級學生分佈比率加以分配。依上述方法分配 樣本之結果，將導致 某些縣市樣本數過少，造成研究結果無法代表該縣 市或缺乏統計效力。因此本研究將樣本數較少之縣市依縣市規模、都市化 程度、大眾運輸系統規模等因素之考量而加以歸類，選定台北、高雄、台 中、台南、新竹、雲林為調查地區。 研究結果顯示一般日活動方面：國中與高中學生十分近似，課後均以補習 為主，五專學生以社交娛樂、購物為主，高職學生介於中間。青少年除上 學外之活動大都集中於下午四時至七時間，而在交通工具使用上，國中學 生以步行及腳踏車為主，高中與高職學生以公車及腳踏車為主，而五專學 生以公車、步行及自騎機車為主；週末假日活動方面青少年皆以社交娛樂 、旅遊、購物為主，青少年之交通工具使用與一般日略有差異，國中學生 以腳踏車、汽車接送及步行為主，高中學生以公車、腳踏車及自騎機車為 主，高職學生以自騎機車、公車及機車接送為主，五專學生以公車及自騎 機車為主。青少年一天內大都從事一至兩個活動，且整個活動過程以完成 所有活動再返家者居多。青少年在交通工具之使用、滿意度、週末假日之 活動類型等特性上，較具地域性之差異。 The problem of illegal motorcycle driving for teenagers is geeting worse, and getting worse, and the public mass transportation is not so attractive to teenagers as before. Hence, how to satisty the teenagers' transportation need and provide them with appropriate facilities or service is an urgent research issue. This study starts from understanding the travel- activity characteristics of teenagers and tries to probe the travel problems that teenagers face. These are for reference of travel service plans and managerialregulation. A face-to-face interview with teenagers was conducted in Taiwan area. The sampled teenagers include 489 junior highschool students, 393 senior highschool students, 844 vocational highschool students and 180 junior collegestudents. The study is composed of source characteristic analysis, activity-pattern analysis, the usage and satisfaction of modes, and trip-chaining analysis. The study results show the desire of flexible and convenient transportation service makes teenagers to drive motorcycles illegally, especially for the activities on weekend. The study really finds some valuable information about teenagers' activity patterns and transportation demand. It provides the reference for planning the transportation service and management strategies for teenagers.
