dc.description.abstract本論文述明光時域反射儀(Optical Time Domain Reflectometer; OTDR) 分別以1.3,1.55,1.65mm三種波長測試光纖之各種特性參數;含光纖損失 係數、光纖彎曲損失、光纖軸向受力對應損失之關係、及光纖徑向受力 對應損失之關係,其測試結果發現1.65 mm 測試波長對於光纖彎曲損失 、光纖軸向拉力、光纖徑向受力最為敏感,1.31mm的量測結果最不敏感, 1.55mm的量測結果居中。為了克服OTDR對於光分歧器後段無法查測障礙 之問題,本論文提出用1.65mm作測試波長光纖監測系統架構之建議。在 總結論中得1.65mm之OTDR對於光纖障礙之偵測最具敏感性,若使用於光 纖監測系統預警測試之效果將最易達到。 Fault location of optical network single mode fiber link by optical time domain reflectometer (OTDR) with different probe wavelengths of 1.3-,1.55-, and 1.65-mm are investigated and compared. We find that the probe wavelength at 1.65 mm is the most sensitive one to reveal the fiber fault conditions of curvature bending, axial tension, and radial force. On the contrary, the 1.3 mm is the least sensitive one and the 1.55 mm is the moderate one to diagnose these fault conditions. The convention component in fiber network, which is operated at 1.31 mm and 1.55 mm wavelength, However its insertion loss measured by 1.65 mm OTDR is not rather sensitive than 1.55 mm. This result suggests that the OTDR operated at 1.65 mm in-service supervisory and fault-locating technique for fiber-optic cable television (CATV) networks is then proposed. The requirement of ultra-wide dynamic range of an OTDR to diagnose the network can be tremendously relaxed. Based on the principle, both reflective and non-reflective faults of fiber links (resulted from fiber cut, crush, bending, tension and radial force ) whether before, after, or between active splitters can be located.zh_TW
