MPEG-2視訊編輯系統之設計

Abstract

隨著多媒體的盛行，數位視訊已經成為一種基本的媒體，而且被廣 泛的應用在各種 不同的領域。而想要將視訊資料依據製作者的想法呈現 在觀眾的眼前，編輯則是視訊後 處理中不可或缺的一環。隨著電腦和壓 縮技術的進步，現在有越來越多以MPEG-2壓縮的 視訊資源可供利用， MPEG-2視訊資料的編輯因此成為多媒體技術中重要的課題。 在這篇 論文中，我們針對MPEG-2視訊提出一個能夠提供精確長度的編輯方法。為 了 減少重新編碼所帶來的負面影響，這個方法將需要重新編碼的畫面數 減至最少。另外我 們設計了一個編輯系統並加以完成。這個編輯系統提 供了多種基本的功能以方便使用者 製作出所想要的視訊資料。我們可以 很輕易的將這個編輯系統應用到一些多媒體系統中 ，而加強了其視訊方 面的功能。 Ditital video has become an essential resource now with the popularity of multimedia technology and has been widely applied in various fields. To present the video information to the viewers on the basis of the idea of the producer, editing is an important video post-processing. With the advance of the computer and compression technology, more and more MPEG2- compressed video sources are available. Thus the editing of MPEG-2 video bitstreams will be an important issue for multimedia technology. In this thesis, we propose a strategy to support precise-length editing for the MPEG-2 video bitstreams. To consider the drawbacks of recoding, the amount of the recoded pictures is minimized in our strategy. Furthermore, an editing system is also designed and implemented. This editing system provides the essential operations to facilitate the production of the user-expected video bitstream. This system can be easily applied to the multimedia applications to enhance their capability of video.
