摘要: 第七號信號系統 (SS7) 是世界公認最先進的共通道信號系統標準。 雖 然SS7網路具有容錯能力與內建式自動網路管理機制, 但本身SS7網路管理 僅對鄰近的信號點作管理控制, 缺乏整體SS7網路管理之觀點, 偶而因一 個小的局部錯誤問題而引發網路嚴重的災難, 故SS7網路是一種高敏感的 信號網路。 SS7網路元件分散各地, 以疏解信號網路瓶頸, 對於網路元件 分散的網路, 宜以集中網路管理為佳。 本論文研究目前SS7網路集中管理 的相關產品, 針對以交換系統為基 (Switching System based)、以非干 擾接取為基 (Non-Intrusive based) 及以SS7維運管理部為基 (SS7 OMAP based) 之三種SS7網路集中管理方法分析與比較管理策略、網路架構、管 理應用及其優缺點。 本論文對用在規劃及管理信號鏈路利用度 (Utilization) 及信號網路可靠度 (Reliability) 之數學模型作一分析, 尤其應用在我國國際SS7網路也提出信號網路可靠度評估。 最後, 本論 文提出SS7鏈路監控系統 (LMCS) 之實作, SS7 LMCS是一個具擴充性小容 量快速發展雛型 (Fast Prototype), 可應用在我國國際SS7網路上。 SS7 LMCS能模擬SS7信號網路運作環境, 並能監視我國國際SS7網路動態, 以即 時提出監控網路異常及信號鏈路診斷結果。 實作證明SS7 LMCS是實務具 有價值的網管輔助系統, 符合本論文所提出的SS7網路集中管理之理論特 性, 且可依市話網路、長途網路、智慧型網路 (IN) 及個人通信服務 (PCS) 網路之需要而加以擴充, 以滿足實際的需求。 The Signaling System Number 7 (SS7) is recommended as a standard Common Channel Signaling (CCS) System in the world. Occasionally owing to happening a small localized fault problem, it may cause serious network disasters. Although the SS7 itself is with fault tolerance capabilities and build-in network management mechanisms, its management approach is only a node- to-node basis without global view. The SS7 network which its network elements are distrubuted throughput to clear out the signaling network bottleneck, so it suits to use centralized management. In this thesis, we survey three kinds of centralized management product for the SS7 network and compare management application, management strategy, network achitecture, and their advantages as well as disadvantages. In this thesis, we also analyze the mathematic model of the signaling link utilization and network reliability to apply the SS7 network. In this thesis, we estimate network reliability on the International SS7 network of International Telecommunication Administration (ITA) in Taiwan. Finally, in this thesis, we also propose an implementation of an expandable the Link Monitor Control Systemm (LMCS) to simulate the SS7 network and to monitor the dynamic states of the whole SS7 network. This is a small miniature system of fast prototype, it is applied to the SS7 network of ITA. An implementation of the SS7 LMCS is proved to match the theoretic character of SS7 centralized management from this thesis, and it is an assistant system of practical useful value. This is an expandable system, according to Local Network, Toll Network, Intelligent Network (IN), and Personal Communication Service (PCS) Network requirements to satify real requirements.
