摘要: 冬蟲夏草的生物活性在近幾年來都頗受科學家的重視, 不論是在腎臟 病. 腫瘤. 免疫力和代謝方面, 都有許多正面的研究結果發表. 本論 文利用adriamycin引起SD老鼠腎衰竭為模式, 灌食冬蟲夏草懸浮乳十天, 觀察血液. 尿液. 以及腎絲球內各種生化及酵素的表現, 得到了下列結 果: 1.冬蟲夏草可增加大白鼠體內血紅素 (hemoglobin) 的含量 (16.4->17.5 g/dl, 17.4 ->18.9 g.dl). 2.冬蟲夏草可有效降 低adriamycin 所引起蛋白尿的症狀 (93.8->62.0 ug/min). 3.冬蟲夏 草可降低GAGs 的流失 (94.0->61.5 ug/day*g), 這對減少尿蛋白流失. 降低 腎絲球的傷害有相當大的幫助. 4.實驗發現, 尿蛋白和 GAGs 之間有一正相關性 (R>0.6), 這表示減少GAGs 的流失應 可降 低尿蛋白的流失. 我們的研究結果顯示出, 冬蟲夏草對adriamycin 引 起的腎功能衰竭現象改善情形, 包括促進血紅素生成, 改善蛋白尿的症 狀, 減少GAGs 的流失. 因此, 整體而言, 服用冬蟲夏草對adriamycin 所 引起的腎功能衰竭現象, 應該是有正面的影響. 我們的實驗更顯示出 GAGs 與尿蛋白流失之間的正相關性, 這對將來繼續進行深入研究開啟了 一個新的領域. Scientists have paid increasing attention to study of Cordyceps sinensis -one of the most important tranditional Chinese medicine. The reason being thatCordyceps sinensis appears to express biological activities fending off diseases, like nephropathy and certain forms of cancer. We have used adriamycin to induce glomerular nephrosis in the SpragueDawley (SD) rats as the model system for the research. The rats were treated with Cordyceps sinensis-methyl cellulose suspension. After ten days, we measurethe biochemical elements of blood and urine as well as the enzymatic activities of glomeruli. The results are shown as follow: 1.Intake of Cordyceps sinensis enhances the synthesis of hemoglobin in adriamycin-treated rats (16.4->17.5 g/dl). 2.Intake of Cordyceps sinensis reduces the symptom of proteinuria in sdriamycin-treated rats (93.8->62.0 ug/min) 3.Intake of Cordyceps sinensis reduces the loss of renal glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) in adriamycin-treated rats (108.6->61.5 g/day*g kidney). This shown a reduction in body protein loss and protection from glomerular damage, clearly a benefit by taking Cordyceps sinensis. 4.Due to a close relationship between GAGs and urine protein (R>0.6), lowering the loss of GAGs would lead to a reduction in the plasma protein loss. This study has demonstrated that, for those SD rats with adriamycin- inducedglomerular nephrosis, the intake of Cordyceps sinensis can increase the hemoglobin content of red blood cells, reduced the loss of GAGs, and reduce proteinuria. Our data has shown a close relationship between GAGs and urine protein; this warrants further research in the application of Cordyceps sinensis for clinical treatment of glomerular hephrosis.
