摘要: | This research is to explore, as a pilot study, the object- oriented structure underlying architectural design thinking and, especially, to investigate some cognitive and computational features of design patterns representation in design cases.One of the main thinking approaches in architecture is based on the memory, from the understanding and retrieving of design cases including precedents and general past examples which capture some critical characteristics of design function, form and problem-solving patterns.Recently, the idea of object-oriented technology became an important approach for programming and database management. The object-oriented concept provides some advantages in some aspects whereas the conventional computer languages and database management systems do not have.Three steps in this study are undertaken:(1) To study the characteristics of object-oriented concepts, structural analysis and construction specification.(2) To apply object-oriented concept into some cognitive aspects of architectural design, and to define a number of critical objects in architectural design cases. In addition, this paper considers carefully case attributes such as design patterns and inheritance.(3) To throw back the experiment results into the design and cognitive structures, and to identify a conceptualized model of pattern- based design thinking strategy. 本研究的方法主要是從Alexander模式語言的相關研究以及所引發的設計 模式觀念,來討論設計知識的表達方式。並歸納出幾種不同類型的模式內 容及格式,建立起模式的知識結構;並藉由物件導向程式的觀念,來表達 以模式為核心的設計知識結構。本研究採行的方式是以建築設計的角度, 提出幾點目前電腦輔助設計的研究中所缺乏的觀點。其中主要是針對設計 中知識結構表達的問題,故嘗試以在建築設計已具有設計知識分類及結構 基礎的Alexander模式語言為理論基礎,側重在建築應用性的觀點上,以 模式來看設計知識的表達方式。本研究目的是藉由設計的認知與運算理論 的研究中,訊息處理觀念所引發的知識,來獲得以模式為核心的設計知識 結構。在電腦輔助設計的應用上,模式導向中的設計模式觀念若能獲致與 專家解決問題一致的決策方式,而能使資訊系統的在設計過程中資訊的提 取,具備有效而符合設計思考的工藉由本論文的實證研究我們發現,模式 的運用在設計思考的過程中扮演著重要的角色。我們將實驗的結果放回設 計認知與運算的理論涵構中,嘗試提出一個模式導向的設計知識結構的概 念化模型。 |
